Devil Hunter Mission & Reward Guide
Master the mission system in Devil Hunter Roblox. Learn which missions give the best rewards, how to use modifiers, and maximize your Yen farming efficiency.
Understanding Devil Hunter Missions
Missions are the primary way to earn Yen and XP in Devil Hunter. You access missions by pressing 'N' on your keyboard to open your phone, then selecting from available mission types. Each mission offers base rewards that can be significantly boosted by applying modifiers - risk modifiers that make the mission harder but increase your payout.
The mission system in Devil Hunter rewards both casual players and hardcore grinders. Casual players can run simple Cleanup Duty missions for steady income, while experienced players can stack modifiers like Bloodlust (+5,000 Yen) and Flawless (+2,000 Yen) to maximize earnings per run.
Understanding mission efficiency is crucial for progression. A player using optimal strategies can earn significantly more Yen per hour than one randomly selecting missions. This guide covers everything you need to know about maximizing your mission rewards.
Mission Types Explained
Devil Hunter offers several mission types, each with different objectives, difficulty levels, and rewards. Here's a breakdown of each:
Cleanup Duty (¥2,500 base, 15 XP)
The easiest mission type and best for new players. Collect devil flesh from remains left by other squads and deliver it to a drop-off point. No combat required! Commercial routes are faster with straighter paths. Use a skateboard for maximum efficiency. Can be completed in ~5 minutes.
Hold the Line (¥4,000 base, 35 XP)
Confront an invading devil and secure the area until HQ confirms it's safe. Requires combat skills. After defeating the devil, you can sell their body parts at the Pawn Shop for extra Yen (around ¥1,000 average). Mantis Devils can spawn during these missions - opportunity to get the Mantis contract!
Aftermath Detail (¥3,500 base, 30 XP)
Fight off hostiles and secure victims within a designated area. This is a PvE-only mission - you CANNOT be invaded by other players! Great for solo grinding without the risk of losing your rewards to hostile players. Requires Junior Hunter rank.
Always choose Commercial locations over Residential when possible. Commercial routes are straighter with fewer obstacles, making missions faster to complete for the same rewards.
Bloodlust
The highest-paying modifier. Eliminate all invading party members. Increases enemy aggression but grants +5,000 Yen and +30 XP. Best combined with skill for maximum profit.
Flawless
No squad members can be knocked out or killed during the mission. Relatively easy for solo players on Cleanup Duty. Great for stacking with Bloodlust.
Bind Path
Hides all mission markers. You must navigate without guidance. Great for players who know the map well. High risk, high reward modifier.
Raid Rewards Guide
Raids offer the highest single-run rewards in Devil Hunter, but have cooldowns between attempts. Here's what each raid offers:
Zombie Devil Raid (Beginner)
Located in Graveyard District. 30 minute respawn. Most beginner-friendly raid.
Eternity Devil Raid / Hotel Raid (Intermediate)
Boss behind the hotel, across corridors. 45 minute respawn. Senior Hunter recommended.
Katana Man Raid (Advanced)
60 minute respawn. First Class Hunter required. Katana Man is extremely fast - use ranged attacks!
Run Commercial missions during raid cooldowns to maintain steady income. The most efficient grind rotates between raids and missions.
Maximum Efficiency Strategies
Follow these strategies to maximize your Yen and XP per hour:
For Maximum Yen/Hour
- Buy a skateboard immediately - faster travel = more missions/hour
- Stack Bloodlust + Flawless on Cleanup Commercial (up to ¥9,500/run)
- Join low-population servers to avoid mission interceptions
- Sell devil parts at Pawn Shop after Hold the Line missions
For Maximum XP/Hour
- Raids give the best XP per run (800-1,200 XP)
- Use Bloodlust modifier (+30 XP) on every mission
- Hold the Line gives more XP than Cleanup (35 vs 15)
- Contract Lock modifier adds +25 XP if you don't need contracts
Expert Mission Tips
- Don't walk when you can skate! The skateboard is the single best investment for mission efficiency.
- Check the Black Market every 15 minutes - it refreshes and can have rare items to sell for profit.
- Don't grind random street enemies for XP - missions are always more efficient.
- Save rare Devil Flesh - you'll need it later for contracts and other progression.
- Use Aftermath Detail missions when playing solo - no player invasions means guaranteed rewards.
- Redeem active codes regularly for free Yen, rerolls, and other rewards!
Remember: Consistency beats luck. Running many efficient missions will always beat hoping for rare drops from random activities.
