Ultimate Guide to Fiend Fear & Skill Progression
The Power of Fear
Unlike Humans who rely on physical training and weapon mastery, Fiends in Devil Hunter grow powerful through a unique resource called 'Fear'. This mechanic represents the Fiend's demonic nature—as they consume the essence of other devils, their own latent abilities manifest. Understanding the Fear system is the single most important aspect of playing a Fiend. It acts as both your level and your skill tree key. Without accumulating Fear, even a Fiend with high stats will be limited to basic attacks, missing out on the devastating supernatural powers that define the class.

Farming Strategy for Fast Progression
To reach Fear 30 as quickly as possible, you should adopt a specific loop. Start by farming the 'Cleaner' or 'Aftermath' missions until you reach Fear 10. Once you unlock your first major offensive skill (like Blood Hammer or Materialize), you can tackle 'Hold the Line' efficiently. Save your Yen! You can often find players selling stacks of Devil Flesh in the marketplace. Buying your way to power is a valid strategy in Devil Hunter if you have the funds. Additionally, join a squad for Raids. Even if you don't deal the most damage, tagging the boss often qualifies you for loot drops that can give you essential body parts.
